It is a pleasure to say that I have known Chris for more than 2 years now. He and I worked together in the training department at SoFi Inc. While Chris amply demonstrated his expertise with motion graphics software during the time we worked together, his knowledge and professionalism are also valuable assets in all facets of media production.

I collaborated with Chris on multiple projects where I could see his expertise first hand. Logistically, Chris consistently had media and assets ready to go on or before deadlines when they were projected for deployment. His consistency is reflected in the evaluations he received from management on his work. Supervisors and compliance representatives complimented Chris on a regular basis. Their observations regarding Chris’s work usually described it as polished, fresh and engaging.

Chris produced a series of compliance videos for SoFi that are still in use. This impacts a population of more than 800 employees. When surveys about his videos were solicited from business units, he was quick to evaluate the feedback and incorporate it into the videos he created. It demonstrated to me his willingness to be open to feedback.

Chris worked on at least two projects that I was personally responsible for. He is open and easy to collaborate with. His feedback and insight into the original media designs produced results far better than anything I could have conceived of on my own. He is tactful and thoughtful in his explanations when the original proposals cannot be executed as designed. He is quick to suggest alternatives and other ways of achieving the training objectives.

Chris is an excellent communicator as well. He always kept me informed about the status of projects. He is always prepared with updates and information in meetings. He is also flexible. I witnessed multiple times when priorities needed to be shifted. He was quick and seamless about transitioning to whatever the top priority is. He is agile and adaptable.

Another characteristic I appreciate about Chris is his transparency. I never have to guess how things are going with the projects he is on. His experience in media development is reflected in his ability to accurately estimate timelines and resource allotments too. When I want details about a projection, Chris is able to give clear explanations about the factors that go into the estimate. He is able to produce results by the deadlines he provides too.

Chris is a constant learner. He has invested time and effort to expand and hone his existing skill sets by taking additional courses on UI/UX. It is an indicator of his growth mind-set.
